Are you ready for a bigger task?

The Swedish Police Authority is Sweden's largest authority with approximately 40,700 employees across the country. With us, you get the opportunity to contribute to the Police's mission – to increase safety and reduce crime in society.

The North Police Region is the largest region in terms of area. The region consists of the four northernmost counties in Sweden and is organized into four police areas: Jämtland, Norrbotten, Västerbotten, and Västernorrland, which are collectively divided into 12 local police areas.

The Västernorrland Police Area is divided into three local police areas: Medelpad, Northern Ångermanland, and Southern Ångermanland.

The Southern Ångermanland Local Police Area is part of the Västernorrland Police Area. Within the local police area, there are intervention and crime prevention activities, investigation groups, as well as support and service.

The service office is the face of the Police Authority and often the first contact for the public - an important point of contact. The operation is both an authority exercise and a service function with accessibility for both external and internal service. Serving as an administrator in the reception is a significant job in strengthening trust in police operations by having commitment, quality, and security in the handling of cases combined with efficiency.

The position is a summer temporary position during the period from June to August, starting in week 23 or by agreement. There may be opportunities for extension of hours before and after this period.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a summer substitute at our service office, you will have an important role within the framework of the police's service mission. Other common job responsibilities may include:

  • Receive and register reports from the public
  • Handle lost property

  • Additional tasks may arise as the inflow of cases can vary greatly.

A prerequisite for you to start working as an administrator at the service office is that you are approved and certified in the mandatory internal training that begins in the first two weeks.

The working hours are primarily scheduled during the day.

There may be work at another location within the police area.
