Ljungbygården is centrally located in Ljungbyhed. The accommodation is on one level with a view of Ljungbydammen. The work at the accommodation should be based on each individual's needs and wishes, with a strong focus on providing high-quality care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant in Klippan Municipality, you will perform tasks that fall under both the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act, where you are obligated to follow legal requirements and stay updated in your professional field. You are responsible for ensuring that the implementation plan exists and is updated, serving as a primary care contact, and reporting and documenting according to legal requirements. You will have an active and close collaboration with other professionals in the team, such as case managers, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will actively and preparatively participate in team meetings with other professionals.

Your mission always focuses on the individual, where you carry out the approved and prescribed interventions with a preventive and health-promoting approach. You maintain a professional attitude where the individual and their relatives should receive a good response with empathy in all situations.

Your ability to plan and execute care and support tasks is good. You should be able to reprioritize tasks based on current situations and handle stressful situations. Furthermore, you should collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the individual receives their interventions with good quality. Guiding and supporting new colleagues and students is part of your work, as well as your own professional development.

You have good knowledge in personal care and can provide good and safe health and medical care based on the various care needs of the individual. Additionally, you have good knowledge in daily rehabilitation and care hygiene. You can perform social pedagogical tasks such as conversations, contact, and activation, and have knowledge of health and medical tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

Trained care assistant

Must have at least a passing grade according to the National Agency for Education's vocational package from the health and care program designed for work as a care assistant. The education corresponds to 1500 credits (see appendix 1).

- For approved training where the title care assistant was obtained before the introduction of the 1500 credits education, the employer has the opportunity to make qualified individual assessments.

Delegations

Must have and maintain the knowledge required to receive the following delegations:

  • Administer medications
  • Insulin treatment
  • Subcutaneous injections with pre-filled syringes
  • Tube feeding via Mic-Key or PEG.

Language Skills

Language skills in Swedish where you have the ability to understand, speak, read, and write the Swedish used in healthcare.

Computer Skills

Your ability to use technical equipment and aids, as well as information technology for information, communication, and documentation, is good.

A driving license is not required for the care and support accommodation but is an advantage.

OTHER
