The Heart Clinic for arrhythmia and pacemaker surgery is a highly specialized intervention unit. In our arrhythmia laboratory, invasive electrophysiological examinations and treatments of cardiac arrhythmias are performed. With about 1000 ablations per year, we are one of Sweden's largest centers for invasive electrophysiology.

In the Pacemaker Unit, we meet patients in the clinic, conduct follow-ups, and perform remote readings of pacemaker and ICD treatments, as well as perioperative nursing work. The pacemaker operations are among the largest in Europe regarding the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, with over 1200 surgeries annually. We have a national high-specialized care assignment (NHV) in extraction surgery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer the opportunity to work as a nursing nurse in our Pacemaker Unit. The work is varied and stimulating, where one day is not like the other. As a nurse, you will develop through multifaceted tasks, including both pre- and postoperative care, as well as nursing responsibility in the operating room. You may also be trained to assist sterilely during surgery.

The unit works transprofessionally and strives to provide the highest quality of care to patients. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to work in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required.

For this role, we consider it an advantage if you have several years of experience in cardiac care. It is beneficial if you have knowledge of ECG and arrhythmia treatment. Experience working in an operating room and previous experience in draping and assisting/instrumenting sterilely during surgery is a significant plus. Familiarity with Melior and Orbit is desirable.
