The Geriatric Department is an inpatient ward with 24 acute care beds. The department focuses on acute geriatric and orthopedic care as well as rehabilitation. Here we work with the multi-ill elderly using a person-centered approach where the varying disease picture of our patients provides a broad knowledge base for you as a nurse.

We work in interdisciplinary teams where you as a nurse, together with nursing assistants and other professionals, form the foundation of the care work at night. The close teamwork between all professional roles is crucial for the patient to receive the best possible care. Our focus is on patient participation and person-centered care, as well as close collaboration with municipalities and primary care before discharge to ensure continued good care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse, you are responsible for basic and medical care as well as risk assessment and preventive measures for the patients. Documentation is done in Melior and Mina planer.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. We would also like you to have experience working in elderly care and/or acute care. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have a specialist education in elderly care.
