About the workplace

We are a total of 17 occupational therapists working in the care and social services administration's 19 nursing homes and short-term unit.

Job responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You will have overall rehabilitation responsibility together with a physiotherapist. You will specifically be responsible for P-ADL and I-ADL through assessment, training, evaluation, and follow-up, as well as testing and follow-up of technical aids based on the occupational therapist's prescription rights. We work with quality registers such as Senior Alert and BPSD.

Your work will also include informing, instructing, and guiding staff and residents regarding rehabilitative and preventive measures.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist with good knowledge of current legislation, such as HSL and SoL. You need to have good computer skills and documentation experience.

It is an advantage to have previously worked in municipal primary care. We see it as a positive that you have good knowledge of Lifecare and are comfortable with the prescription process.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Additional information

As an employee, you will have a manager. You will be primarily placed at one of our units but are employed within the operational area. It is always the patient's needs that dictate, which may mean that you work both broadly and at other units when a need arises.
