The Workplace

We are now looking for a care assistant for Home Care Center West.

We are a team with high competence that is passionate about delivering care and support of high quality to our customers. We are based in central Trelleborg with proximity to public transport and within walking distance to buses and trains. We have cycling distance to our customers. We provide electric bikes and regular bikes so that you can easily transport yourself during work.

Job Responsibilities

When you work in home care, you help and support customers in their own homes, based on a support decision, with what the customer cannot manage on their own. This can include personal care, assistance with warming food, walks, making beds, and sometimes cleaning. Tasks such as pharmacy errands are also included.

It is important to provide good service at home and to enable people with care needs to choose to stay at home and experience safety and quality.

The daily work is entered into a planning system. This working method creates structure and efficiency where everyone knows what/how and which tasks should be performed.

The professional role includes certain health and medical tasks delegated by licensed healthcare professionals/rehabilitation staff, such as assistance with training, medication administration, insulin administration, etc.

In home care, we document in the operational system Life Care.

The role of a care assistant means that you get to work with some of the best and most rewarding things there are, namely making everyday life safe and meaningful for our customers. We always put the customer at the center.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a trained care assistant or have other education that the employer deems relevant for the job. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and responsibility. We prefer that you are stress-resistant and enjoy new challenges. In your professional role, you will meet many new customers and colleagues. You should be able to collaborate in a team.

The work is varied from day to day. It is important that you can see opportunities and solutions to problems. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required for the job.

Work in home care requires that you can cycle.

Working Hours/Duration

A full-time permanent position

A full-time position for a 12-month temporary contract

Working hours according to schedule day/evening and weekends.
