Vårdcentralen Närlunda is a family-oriented health center located in the southern parts of Helsingborg with good train and bus connections. We have around 4000 registered patients and an engaged team of about 20 employees. Our workgroup consists of specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, AT/BT doctors, district nurses, nurses, medical secretaries, receptionists, nursing assistants, social workers, dietitians, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We also have a Child Health Center (BVC), diabetes clinic, and blood pressure clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other professional groups to provide safe and evidence-based care.

In the role of diabetes nurse, you will work closely with patients in care and follow-up of individuals with diabetes of all ages. You will also have the opportunity to help develop our asthma/COPD clinic.

In addition to your own clinic work with diabetes and asthma/COPD patients, common tasks at a health center may also include telephone counseling and triage.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training in diabetes care and authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, it is preferable if you have further education in asthma, allergies, and COPD. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have work experience from primary care and/or experience working with the PMO journal system.
