The psychosis care within the Adult Psychiatry Unit Lund consists of two psychosis clinics, a psychiatric intensive care unit (PIVA) with 16 beds, of which 3 are for PIVA and 13 for psychosis, as well as psychosis ward 3 with 16 beds.

The Adult Psychiatry Ward 3 Psychosis is a locked 24-hour care unit whose mission is to investigate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychotic disorders. Depending on the availability of beds, other diagnoses from the general psychiatric spectrum may also occur. We work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of specialist doctors, resident doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries, with physiotherapists available on a consulting basis. Teamwork is important, and we are driven by Region Skåne's values: welcoming, proactive, caring, and respectful, which permeate our daily work. We work with the patient in focus and contribute and act together for a good working environment. Furthermore, we offer close leadership and collaboration with other specialized psychiatric units, which we see as a strength and an asset for both employees and patients. The unit is led by a unit manager. The psychosis teams within inpatient and outpatient care have close collaboration, and there are common forums for patients in crisis and admitted patients. The outpatient units work based on the FACT model. Currently, there are eight specialist doctors/consultants in the field of psychosis.
