Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you provide care and support based on each patient's individual needs. The work is characterized by responsibility, commitment, and a professional approach.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Personal care such as assistance with hygiene, showering, toilet visits, and dressing
• Medical interventions delegated by licensed personnel, e.g., blood sugar measurement and wound dressing
• Practical support in daily life such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry
• Documentation of performed interventions in the journal system
• Contact and collaboration with relatives and other professional groups in the administration

You motivate and encourage patients to maintain their independence and work closely with home care, rehabilitation, and case managers.

Choose the Service That Suits You Best

• Home Care: You work independently in the patient's home and travel by bike or car. There is an opportunity to work during the day (07:00–15:30) or in the evening (15:00–23:00).
• Care and Nursing Home: You work in a team and provide care, support, and supervision in our homes. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening (06:45–16:00 or 12:00–22:00), which means you need to be able to work both day and evening shifts.
• Short-Term Care: You meet patients who stay in one of our homes for a limited period, for example, after a hospital stay. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening (06:45–16:00 or 12:00–22:00), which means you need to be able to work both day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of protected professional title as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or a certificate of permanent employment as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has good digital skills and can document in digital systems
• Can bike, and in some cases has a B driver's license (requirement for certain positions in home care)
• Experience in care and nursing is a requirement for short-term care and night shifts

Meritorious:

• Experience in dementia care and/or person-centered care
• Experience with the systems LifeCare, Procapita, Flexite, Senior Alert, or BPSD
• Multilingualism
