About the workplace

Pålsjö Park nursing home is located in a quiet and pleasant area in the northern part of Helsingborg. Opposite the residence is Pålsjö forest with access to lovely forest walks. Pålsjö Park nursing home was built in 2012 and is designed over three floors with 60 apartments distributed across 5 wings. Each floor has a shared kitchen. The transport connections to Pålsjö Park nursing home are good, bus 3 and 6 stop right outside the building.

Job responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible.

In your work, you will be responsible for performing service and care tasks and creating conditions for a good quality of life for our tenants. You will be part of a team consisting of a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and unit manager, and you will perform interventions delegated by our licensed staff.

You see documentation as a natural and important part of your work to ensure good and safe care.

The positions are scheduled for day and evening shifts. We work both weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, and to succeed in the role, it is important that you have basic computer skills, documentation experience, are comfortable working with digital tools, and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You also need to have experience working with and performing delegated health care tasks.

It is an advantage if you have advanced training related to the healthcare profession, if you have worked with people with cognitive impairments, as well as with palliative care and end-of-life care. Furthermore, it is also advantageous if you have experience working in Procapita, LifeCare, APPVA, Senior Alert, BPSD.
