Trelleborg Hospital, with its approximately 600 employees, is the personal hospital with great opportunities. We provide specialized basic healthcare for a catchment area of 100,000 inhabitants. We have an emergency department, somatic inpatient care with a focus on internal medicine, specialist clinics, and an orthopedic center.

The area of operations (VO) for receptions and rehabilitation is one of three areas of operations and includes internal medicine activities where we conduct operations in endocrinology, gastroenterology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, neurology, general internal medicine, and rheumatology.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities as a biomedical analyst with us are varied, and you will independently perform tasks such as echocardiography, exercise tests, interpretation of Holter ECG, Carotid duplex, and EEG. Our mission is to perform examinations on patients who are admitted to the hospital and support outpatient care in our vicinity.

We work in teams with other professionals such as cardiac nurses, cardiologists, and medical secretaries. As a biomedical analyst, you will have your own workstation and sit together with other biomedical analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed biomedical analyst with a focus on clinical physiology and has the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Your language skills in Swedish correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. Additionally, to be considered for the position, you must have experience in independently performing echocardiography. It is advantageous if you can also interpret and respond to echocardiography examinations. Experience in working with exercise tests, Holter ECG, Carotid duplex, and EEG is also a merit for the position. Likewise, it is beneficial if you have experience working in Melior, PASiS, and SectraRis.
