The Workplace

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a nurse in home care in Trelleborg Municipality.

Trelleborg Municipality is divided into geographical areas that include special accommodations, LSS operations, and ordinary housing. Our office is located at Gutenbergsgatan 2 in central Trelleborg, where all nurses start their shifts. The proximity to colleagues contributes to good cohesion and a pleasant work environment. The nurses who work here represent a broad competence and a diversity of experiences. We tailor the introduction based on your experiences and knowledge level as well as the needs of the operation.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in Trelleborg Municipality, you are responsible for medical interventions in special accommodations and/or in ordinary housing as well as within LSS. You make assessments, follow-ups, document, and guide care staff. As a nurse in home care, you collaborate with different professional categories and several instances involved in the patient's care. The work as a nurse in home care is varied, educational, and exciting, giving you the chance to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants a job that is performed independently under responsibility. A B driver's license is required, as you need to be able to travel by car.

Experience in home care is an advantage.

Among personal qualities and competencies particularly important for the role, we value that you act from a positive attitude and flexibly. You also demonstrate loyalty, solution-focused behavior, and a good ability and competence to collaborate and plan well. You show great commitment and interest in your tasks. During recruitment, we will place great importance on these personal qualities.

Before an employment offer, you must be able to present an acceptable extract from the police criminal record and a Swedish nursing license.

Working Hours/Duration

We are recruiting for 3 vacancies among regular staff. See below for more information. You are asked to rank your interest in these positions in your application.

• 1 permanent full-time position, daytime schedule 07:30 - 16:00
• 1 full-time temporary position until 2026-12-31, daytime schedule 07:30 - 16:00
• 1 part-time/full-time temporary position until 2026-12-31, rolling schedule evening and night shifts working hours 13:00 – 21:30 and 21:15 – 07:55
