Make a difference. Every day.
Are you interested in allergic diseases and keen to work in a team-based environment to achieve good and quality-assured care for our patients? Then you should apply for the position with us!
Hässleholm Hospital has three areas of operation (VO); medicine, rehabilitation, and orthopedics. The VO medicine includes the medical outpatient clinic, medical department, neurology department, and acute medical department. We also have a close collaboration with the emergency department, which belongs to the management of Close Care and Health.
At the medical outpatient clinic, we are about 40 employees, and our team consists of nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, administrators, and biomedical analysts. We have a strong and close collaboration with our doctors to create the best conditions for good, close, and patient-safe care for our residents. The allergy clinic is part of the medical outpatient clinic, which also has several other clinics covering diseases related to the heart, stroke, neurology, and diabetes. At the allergy clinic, we have both an allergist and a training doctor on site.
We place great emphasis on our work environment and work with individual solutions to create an employment that best suits both the operation and our employees. We see it as a given that every employee is involved in our work processes, and we strive to follow the model Right Competence Utilization (RAK) to stay updated and keep up with developments. Competence development is important to us, and we are open to trying new working methods to provide our patients with the best possible care.
In extraordinary events, rotation between the outpatient clinic and our departments may be relevant, which means some weekend work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The allergy clinic is part of the medical outpatient clinic and has a specialist function focused on the investigation and treatment of asthma and allergic diseases. This may include allergies in the airways or allergies to food, medications, or insect venom. We also diagnose and treat angioedema or chronic urticaria, and we perform allergy vaccinations here, known as allergen-specific immunotherapy.
At the allergy clinic, we work in teams consisting of specialist doctors, resident doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and secretaries. The short communication paths and collegiality are a significant advantage in daily work and provide great patient benefit. We strive for patient-centered teamwork where tasks are integrated, and employees complement each other.
With us, you will:
- contribute to the development of the allergy clinic together with your team
- have flexible working hours to solve the puzzle of life
- have the opportunity for continued education in the field.
