Do you want to influence the patient's experience with us through your knowledge and experience in the role of a nurse at our clinic? Here you will have the opportunity to work in our medical day care and allergy clinic. Welcome to the medical clinic in Hässleholm.

Hässleholm Hospital has three areas of operation (VO); medicine, rehabilitation, and orthopedics. VO medicine includes the medical clinic, medical ward, neurology department, and acute medical ward. We also have a close collaboration with the emergency department, which belongs to the management of Close Care and Health.

We are divided into different teams and help each other across boundaries so that our everyday life works in the best way for both patients and colleagues. Our working hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, and we usually know in advance what is planned for the coming day and week, which promotes a functioning flexible schedule. We strive to adapt work and tasks based on competence and interest.

In extraordinary events, rotation between the clinic and our departments may be relevant, which means some weekend work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks in day care include performing various treatments such as transfusions, infusions, injections, and sampling/investigations. The nurse is also responsible for preparing patients for electrical conversions and conducting patient education in injection techniques. Telephone counseling and handling of cases in 1177 are also included in the position. Documentation is done in the Melior journal system.

In your role with us, you will also be involved in examinations and treatments for allergic and asthmatic diseases at the allergy clinic. The examinations include, among other things, spirometry examinations, prick tests, medical technical procedures (so-called provocations), and medication administration in various forms. At this clinic, we also conduct allergy vaccination in tablet and injection form.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. For the position, language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale is a requirement. A prerequisite for the role is that you have experience in your professional role as a nurse. Education in Care of persons with allergies, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) 15 credits or experience of similar work is meritorious.
