The Norra Fäladen Healthcare Center is located in northern Lund and has approximately 10,700 registered patients, a large proportion of whom are students. The healthcare center is in a positive phase of development with a well-structured approach and a strong focus on development, education, quality, and accessibility.

Here, about 45 employees work closely together across professional boundaries to create the best healthcare center for patients and staff. The operations include, among other things, a child health clinic, Lund's only family center, elderly care, diabetes and asthma-COPD clinics, as well as responsibility for two special accommodations and a contact healthcare center for LSS. All our patients have a designated physician, and we work in acute teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist physician in general medicine, you will work with standard tasks within primary care and be responsible for your own patient list with a designated physician. You will collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to receive both planned and acute patient visits. The role also includes supervising medical students and training physicians. We have both child health and maternity care, special accommodations, cooperation with home healthcare, and a contact healthcare center for LSS. In addition to patient meetings, you play an important role in creating a safe and developing educational environment for future specialists.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. Additionally, language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required.

As a person, you are secure in your professional role, have a professional demeanor, and enjoy both independent work and teamwork. You have a genuine interest in general medicine and want to contribute to the continued development of the operations with the patient in focus. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
