The Linero Östra Torn Health Center is located in an area of Lund where many new homes are being developed and built, with good commuting opportunities. We have specialists in general medicine and ST doctors working in a well-organized medical practice with support from nursing assistants and secretarial staff. We have experienced district nurses and registered nurses with their own specialist clinics in diabetes, asthma and COPD, incontinence, vaccination, asylum, elderly care, and health talks. The health center also employs physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, social workers, psychologists, and dietitians. We also have a Child Health Center (BVC) and Maternal Health Care (BMM). Our management team is very present, and decision-making paths are short.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an ST doctor, you will follow your ST plan, and we offer a supportive educational climate with continuous supervision on your path to specialist medical competence. During the first year, you will work at the health center, and in the following four years, you will alternate between rotations at specialist clinics and work at the health center. You will have your own patient list for which you are responsible. In addition to mandatory ST courses, you will be offered good development opportunities with continuous internal and external training based on interest and the needs of the organization.

Furthermore, we expect you to be involved and proactive in improvement work and organizational development. We have come a long way in digital development with a modern and mobile work environment that includes a personal laptop with the possibility for remote work, speech recognition, and the opportunity for digital patient meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. To be considered for the position, you must have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage.

To thrive with us, you should have a genuine interest in general medicine and an interest in working in a team with other professional groups. It is crucial that you share the same goals and visions as we do, which includes providing good and quality care. You are curious and attentive to the patient's needs. You have a holistic view of both work and the patient and adapt easily to different circumstances. Furthermore, your work is characterized by being meticulous, structured, and having a flexible approach. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A permanent position as an ST doctor may be preceded by a fixed-term position as a junior doctor for a period of three to six months in accordance with regional guidelines for filling ST doctor positions within Primary Care.
