We are now welcoming a nurse to Day Surgery Kristianstad (DagOp). Here, we have holidays on red days, weekends, and we do not work nights. Interested? Then you should apply to us!

At the Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK), we perform approximately 4000 day surgeries per year, of which about a quarter are children. DagOp has a total of about 19 places divided into DagOp A, which primarily monitors adult patients, and DagOp B, which primarily monitors children. Our team consists of specialist nurses, general nurses, and nursing assistants. In our daily work, there are always two anesthesiologists available. We also have a unique anesthetic clinic in Sweden where anesthetic nurses meet all day surgery patients before anesthesia.

We work to create better flows for both patients and staff while offering you varied tasks with secure routines.

The area of anesthesia/surgery/intensive care operates at CSK and consists of central operations, day surgery, anesthetic clinic, postoperative ward, sterile technical unit, pain clinic, and intensive care unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who appreciates renewal, smooth flows, teamwork, and the opportunity to develop the business. You will be part of a day surgery operation with varied tasks in surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), dental care, and ophthalmology.

- I have nice colleagues and good working hours. We have a good climate in our workgroup with different backgrounds and experiences. I learn things all the time, and my job is never monotonous, says Kristina, nurse.

Here, we work in a smaller organization with an accessible manager. You will work during the day with some evening shifts. We offer you an independent job with a wide variety within a broad surgical operation with patients of varying ages. You will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences. With us, there are opportunities for development and further education.

- I enjoy following my patients, who can be both children and adults, through the day surgery process. When I go home for the day, I am done with my work, and then new patients await the next time I work. I like my working hours, and the schedule always works out, says Jessica, nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Additionally, we would like you to have a specialist nursing degree with a focus on anesthesia, intensive care, or pediatrics. If you have work experience in postoperative, anesthesia, or surgical nursing, it is an advantage for the position.

You are structured and have good organizational skills while being able to prioritize your work based on changing circumstances.
