We finally have the opportunity to offer exciting positions in inpatient neurology!
At Hässleholm Hospital, there is a strong operation in internal medicine, neurology, and rehabilitation medicine. We are two care units currently operating on the same ward floor, the medicine department and the neurology and rehabilitation department (NORAH). We are now entering a new phase where we are building for the future and have therefore implemented a reorganization for increased quality and accessibility for our patients. As part of this work, we will be streamlining neurology and rehabilitation into two separate departments starting in spring 2026. We are now looking for nurses for our new neurology department.
Who are you?
- You are a licensed nurse or in your final semester of nursing education, with curiosity for nursing and rehabilitation work within our profile areas.
- You may have experience working in hospitals within acute care, internal medicine, or neurology.
- You value and contribute to teamwork around our patients.
- You are engaged and enjoy learning new things.
- You thrive in an environment where development and learning are part of everyday life and actively contribute to that development.
- You have a genuine interest in helping people and creating security around the patient.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
With us, you will be offered a varied and stimulating job where no day is the same. In the neurology department, you will meet patients with various neurological diseases such as stroke and epilepsy. Many of our older patients also have multiple diseases in their medical history, which provides you with a varied and stimulating work experience. Medicine patients are also present in the department.
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the patient's care, treatment, and nursing. We work with a person-centered approach to best promote our patients' well-being and health. In our multiprofessional teams, you will work as a nurse alongside nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, and medical secretaries. You will also have coordinators during the day who handle daily operations and an SVU coordinator who manages My Plans and ensures that discharges to the municipality occur as smoothly as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. We welcome both experienced and newly graduated nurses.
As a person, you have a positive attitude and see opportunities, which is evident in your ability to adapt your working methods to changing circumstances that arise in everyday life. In contact with patients and relatives, we expect you to be attentive and have a humble and empathetic approach. You are curious and want to learn new things, which is reflected in your ability to take your own initiatives at work. We also want you, just like us, to value and promote good collaboration both with colleagues and your immediate supervisor as well as with external partners and other departments in the hospital. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
