Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

The health and medical care unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and HSL-USK. We work with patients aged 18 and older who require health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in special and ordinary housing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a licensed nurse for an evening position in home healthcare. The employment is a permanent position with a working degree of 50-100 percent, as agreed. Working hours are scheduled for evenings and the assignment covers the entire municipality, both in ordinary housing and special housing. The position includes work two weekends during a five-week period.

As an evening nurse, you are responsible for providing safe and quality medical care and nursing. The tasks consist of both planned and urgent medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups of care interventions, including end-of-life care.

You are responsible for documenting care and treatment according to applicable guidelines and serve as a support for patients, relatives, and care staff. The work requires independence, flexibility, and good collaboration skills, as you will closely cooperate with colleagues and other professionals within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with experience in the profession. You are confident in your role, have a good ability to make well-founded decisions, and can adapt to the situations that arise, always with the patient's best interest in focus. Experience in home healthcare is an advantage.

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and communicative, with a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care.

A driving license (B) is required for the position, and you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
