The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Skåne is characterized by an ongoing improvement process to develop the care and support we wish to provide our patients. Here, as a nurse, you have an important mission to contribute with your insights and skills. Much is about seeing the patient and being present - here you will use your entire competence in meetings with each adolescent and quickly build alliances to meet the child where they are.

We at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic in Trelleborg are a positive group that cares for each other, and we always have room for laughter and community. Today, we are 31 dedicated employees consisting of nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. In addition, we have resident doctors, psychology assistants, and other students at our clinic.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse with us, you will work alongside five nursing colleagues, and your primary task is to be responsible for medication follow-up and dosage titration for children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric disabilities. Part of the medication follow-up is conducted digitally from a distance. You will also work with telephone advice and collaborate with other healthcare providers, schools, and social services.

In addition to these tasks, you will also play an important role in contributing to the continued digital development of work with children and youth within the framework of the nursing assignment.

It is important for us that you have a secure start to your employment with us. When you start the position, you will receive a two-week introduction to our operations and be assigned a mentor who will guide you during your initial time with us.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare and wish to try working at Bup. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are also a requirement. We prefer that you have specialist nursing training with a focus on psychiatric care and experience working with children and adolescents. It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience working with digital healthcare interventions previously. It is also beneficial if you are familiar with and have experience working in Pasis and Melior.

To thrive in the role, it is important that you can easily adapt to changing circumstances and that you have the ability to handle situations when the pace is sometimes high. As a person, you are development-oriented and actively contribute to identifying and driving improvement efforts. Since the work requires you to make your own decisions and organize much of your work yourself within fixed frameworks, we also see that you have a good ability to prioritize between your tasks. Additionally, it is important that you enjoy and function well working in a team with colleagues from both your own and other professions. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
