Administrator at Hässelby-Vällingby District Administration
Stockholm – our capital with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for someone who wants to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
The Hässelby-Vällingby District Administration is located in western Stockholm, close to scenic areas and good transportation links. We are about 1,700 proud and dedicated employees who provide high-quality service to the residents of the district every day. Our work environment is characterized by collaboration, courage, and participation. Our strength lies in the diversity among our residents, which is also reflected in our employees. Together, we make a difference!
Do you want to work in an organization that makes a difference for the people of Stockholm and at the same time be a key person in the daily operations? We are now looking for an administrator who wants to contribute with structure, service, and coordination and help build new working methods in a changing organization.
Welcome to us!
The unit for urban environment and sustainability is part of the department for operational support and urban environment. Our mission is to contribute to an attractive, safe, and sustainable urban environment for the residents of the district. We are responsible for the maintenance and development of the district's parks and natural areas, as well as supporting the administration's operations in achieving the city's sustainability goals.
The unit currently consists of four park engineers, an urban environment strategist, a climate and environmental coordinator, and a unit manager. We are now entering an exciting development phase where park maintenance will transition to in-house management. In connection with this, we are expanding the unit with an administrator.
As an administrator with us, you will be an important part of the change process and contribute with structure, coordination, and administrative support in daily operations. We are an engaged team that values dialogue, participation, and collaboration, and we work every day for a well-functioning and sustainable urban environment.
We offer
Working with urban environment is a meaningful job that makes a difference for our residents every day. With us, you will have a varied, educational, and independent job in an organization characterized by development and a lack of pretentiousness.
You will have the opportunity, together with your closest colleagues, to help build an organization in transition and contribute to shaping new working methods.
As an employee of the City of Stockholm, you will benefit from the city's collective agreement benefits, such as wellness grants and vacation exchange. Read more about our benefits here.
Your role
As an administrator with us, you will work closely with the unit manager, urban environment strategist, park engineers, and team leaders. You are an important resource in daily operations and contribute to the effective and structured functioning of the organization. The tasks are varied and include, among other things:
- distributing cases in the city's case management system (Artvise and ISY Road)
- responding to and recording incoming feedback
- managing invoices
- conducting and coordinating purchases in the city's system (Agresso)
- following up on contracts
- providing administrative support for meeting bookings and meeting notes
- coordinating local issues
- coordinating training
- providing administrative support for recruitment
As the organization is under development, the tasks may vary and change over time, in dialogue with you and your colleagues.

In contact with colleagues and residents, you show interest, willingness, and the ability to help others. You are meticulous, able to see both details and the big picture, and you are aware of the quality standards required in municipal assignments.
