Botkyrka municipality is the sixth largest municipality in Stockholm County and consists of the districts of Alby, Fittja, Hallunda, Norsborg, Tullinge, Tumba, Vårsta, and Grödinge. Botkyrka municipality has approximately 95,000 inhabitants and over 6,400 employees.

The Department of Labor Market and Adult Education is responsible for the municipality's labor market measures, daily operations, adult education, and issues related to higher education, such as vocational training and other post-secondary education. Our goal is to provide the residents of Botkyrka with good conditions to engage in studies, work, and employment. We are 330 employees working to enable more citizens to achieve self-sufficiency.

The Position and Responsibilities

The position is a key function in the department's systematic quality development work, focusing on internal control, binding requirements, risk analysis, self-checks, and process development.

You are responsible for ensuring that laws and regulations, as well as normative governing documents, are managed within internal control and integrated into the department's core and support processes.

The responsibilities include mapping processes, identifying relevant risk areas, and developing work with service design and stakeholder analyses. You identify and drive improvements in processes, routines, and checklists to highlight efficiency opportunities. You coordinate and ensure the department's risk analysis and are responsible for planning and following up on the internal control plan. You report to the finance and quality manager.

Your main responsibilities include:

• driving and coordinating quality work and internal control in the department
• mapping relevant risk areas and leading risk analysis work
• ensuring that state and municipal governance and normative governing documents are integrated into the management system's internal control
• planning and following up on the internal control plan
• identifying and driving improvements in processes and routines for efficiency and digitalization purposes
• developing quality key performance indicators
• participating in the municipality's cross-departmental quality network and collaborating with other departments
• participating in quality audits, writing and presenting quality reports for the management team and committee

You will have close cooperation with the department's various operations and functions. The role is central to ensuring a structured, cohesive, and quality-driven approach within the department.

Who We Are Looking For

You have an academic degree in economics, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, systems science, or equivalent, preferably with a focus on risk and quality development. You have several years of experience as a business controller, quality developer, coordinator, or equivalent, focusing on quality management, internal control, management systems, and process development.

Other Requirements

• Experience in documenting information and writing reports.
• Experience in presenting and informing groups.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable

• Experience working in management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar standards.
• Experience in process mapping.
• Experience with the 2C8 system.
• Knowledge of sustainable development.
