Viktor Rydberg's School in Djursholm is looking for an administrator starting after the Easter holiday (week 15) or by agreement. The position is a parental substitute for 60% until January 2027.

The Viktor Rydberg schools consist of three high schools and four primary schools, with the latest primary school opening in August 2021 in Fisksätra. The growth of the organization offers you great opportunities for positions at several of our schools.

In your role as an administrator, you will collaborate with other staff at the school and within the Viktor Rydberg Foundation to support the school operations, creating the best conditions for the educational mission. The focus of the role is to achieve positive effects and values for the students and to contribute to a good working environment for both staff and students.

You will provide close support to the school leaders in areas such as student, staff, finance, information, and government administration. In your role, you will have a central and important position in the school's administration. You are the face of the school, welcoming visitors daily, assisting and guiding students, educators, parents, and others who come or call the school administration for various matters.

Tasks also include short-term staffing duties such as booking substitutes and related administration. As a school administrator, you will also handle personnel administration related to absences.

You should be able to coordinate events such as Open House and parent evenings.

It is a requirement that you have at least three years of upper secondary education or equivalent. Additional administrative education, preferably related to finance or IT, is an advantage. Previous experience in administrative tasks, working in a reception, and/or experience in a school setting is also advantageous.

You have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. You are driven, service-oriented, and flexible based on the situation's demands. It is important that you are structured and systematic in your approach, as well as observant and responsive to what needs to be done, allowing you to prioritize effectively. You possess high social competence, good collaboration skills, are responsible, and maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.

Working with a computer as a tool is second nature to you. You can handle basic systems such as Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Google Drive, etc. Good references are a prerequisite for the position.

There is another administrator at the school, and you will work closely in a team.
