Your responsibilities

As a Financial Controller, you will be a key person in a close-knit Nordic team and contribute to a stable and forward-looking controller function.

You will be responsible for:

Quality assurance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensuring that processes and routines comply with internal guidelines and regulations
Monthly reporting to the parent company
Preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts
Ongoing financial monitoring and reporting to management
Supporting the business with financial analyses and decision-making materials

The above tasks form the basis of your daily work, but for the right person, there are also good opportunities to participate in projects and be active in change and improvement work within the team and finance function.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in a Financial Controller role and a background in accounting or auditing. You are analytical, proactive, and enjoy work that combines details with a holistic perspective.

You have strong system skills and work effortlessly in Excel. Experience with Power Pivot and Power Query is highly meritorious, as the team actively works with automation and streamlining of reports and analysis processes. International experience is not a requirement, but you feel comfortable in a dynamic environment and see the value in being part of a global organization. You express yourself very well in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, communicative, and unpretentious. You work in a structured manner, have an easy time prioritizing, and thrive in a team where everyone supports each other and collectively drives the work forward.

Success factors

At least three years of experience as a Financial Controller and a solid foundation in accounting
Proactive and driving in the development and streamlining of processes
Very good system skills and strong Excel knowledge
Experience with Power Pivot and Power Query
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
