Do you want to combine your financial expertise with close engagement in project operations? We are now looking for a project controller who wants to work with monitoring, forecasting, and analysis in larger projects.

In this role, you will work with project economics rather than traditional accounting. Your focus will be on understanding, monitoring, and analyzing the financial development of the projects.

Examples of tasks:

• Ongoing monitoring of the projects' finances.
• Work with progressive profit recognition, forecasts, and analyses.
• Contribute to financial reporting related to the organization's projects.
• Support project management with decision-making materials and financial analyses.
• Have a holistic understanding of the projects' financial development and contribute to identifying risks and opportunities.

You will initially be assigned to one project and will gradually take on responsibility for more.

The position is a direct recruitment, meaning you will be employed by the company while the recruitment process is handled by us at StudentConsulting. The position is full-time with office hours and starts as soon as the right candidate is found.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, and has a positive attitude. You thrive in a role where you can combine your financial expertise with an understanding of how projects work in practice.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in finance, preferably with a focus on business economics or project economics.
• Experience in forecasting, analysis, and monitoring – preferably from project-based operations.
• The ability to understand how projects can change over time and affect finances.
• Good analytical skills and an interest in understanding both the numbers and the business behind them.
• A self-directed working style and a desire to develop within project economics.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
