Labor Market Unit, Ministry of Employment

Do you want to contribute to the shaping of labor market policy? Do you want interesting and varied tasks while assisting the Minister of Employment in one of the government's most prioritized issues? We are looking for someone with an academic background and several years of experience in qualified administrative or investigative tasks.

As an employee with us, you will help prepare materials for government decisions on various labor market policy issues, primarily concerning unemployment insurance, activity support, and establishment compensation. You will participate in the development of labor market policy, conduct analysis and follow-up, and prepare cases. Your tasks will also include staying updated on your area of responsibility. The tasks also encompass related issues at the EU and international level. The unit is characterized by a sometimes high pace, high demands for quality, and a dynamic environment with good team spirit. Your Background

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education and several years of current experience in relevant and qualified investigative or administrative work in the Government Offices, another government agency, municipality, or relevant organization. You need to have relevant and current knowledge of the regulations of unemployment insurance. If you have experience in applying unemployment insurance regulations and knowledge of these regulations in an EU and international context, that is an advantage. Experience working on EU or international issues is also a plus. It is beneficial if you have experience and knowledge of other labor market policy issues. You should also have knowledge of activity support or establishment compensation, as well as experience in investigative or administrative work in the Government Offices. You have excellent skills in Swedish and good skills in English, both spoken and written.

The position is a permanent employment, with a six-month probationary period. A security clearance will be conducted before a decision on employment is made.
