On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a project communicator for a temporary consulting assignment. In this role, you will work operationally in projects and be responsible for planning and implementing communication efforts, focusing on ensuring that the right information reaches the right target groups.

About the assignment We are looking for a Project Communicator for a consulting assignment for our client in Stockholm. The assignment lasts for 3 months, starting as soon as possible, no later than 2026-02-02. The assignment is for 100% of a full-time position. The communications department is responsible for the client's internal and external communication and plays a central role in developing and ensuring that communication to residents and other stakeholders is clear and accessible. The department consists of 18 employees.

Your tasks

As a project communicator, you will work operationally in various projects and have close collaboration with specialists and administrators within the organization, as well as with external partners involved in or affected by the projects. This may include residents, businesses, organizations, and other authorities.

You will develop communication and activity plans based on established strategies and be responsible for driving communication forward within given time and budget frames. The role involves ensuring that the right information reaches the relevant parties and target groups. You will write procurement documents and texts for various channels and be responsible for follow-up and evaluation of completed communication efforts.

The work requires both strategic and operational knowledge in communication and stakeholder management. The role includes planning and conducting information meetings and events, where social competence and a professional approach are important. The work may also involve visiting and outreach activities towards stakeholders in the city.

You will also handle orders for communication services, formulate messages, and write texts for various channels, while continuously keeping stakeholders updated via, for example, the web and newsletters.

Your qualifications

• Academic education in communication or equivalent field

• Current and at least 5 years of experience in strategic and operational communication work

• Current work experience in stakeholder management

• Experience as a project manager for external communication efforts

• Experience with budget responsibility and as a purchaser of communication services

• Experience from the public sector or politically governed organization

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English – both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience with the City of Stockholm

• Worked operationally with project communication within infrastructure or urban development

• Worked operationally with stakeholder management, target group private individuals and businesses

• Organized events

• Worked with digital newsletters

• Written clear language and accessibility-adapted texts for external web
