About our job opening

We are now looking for someone interested in an independent and varied job as a healthcare administrator, primarily focusing on appointment scheduling within the medical area.

With us, you will have a challenging and skill-developing job where you will gain new experiences and grow in your professional role. We believe it is important for you to feel comfortable, and you will of course receive an introduction in the unit where you will work.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Booking referrals and follow-up appointments
  • Answering patient phone calls for cancellations and rescheduling
  • Setting and adjusting schedules in Elvis
  • Case management in 1177
  • Working with waiting lists
  • Supervising students during their internships with us

This is a permanent position.

About us

The medical area is large, with over 500 employees. We have nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, medical secretaries, administrators, and assistants working in teams.

The medical department is divided into three sections: Hematology, Oncology, and Pulmonology, Cardiology, and the Medical section.

We are responsible for specialized care in emergency medicine, heart diseases, blood disorders, lung diseases, allergy investigations, kidney diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, diabetes, hormonal diseases, and cancers. Our primary mission is the care of acutely ill, multi-ill, and chronically ill patients. In addition to outpatient and inpatient care, we also conduct day care activities. We also have a close collaboration with social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a YH education as a medical secretary/healthcare administrator or equivalent higher education and who is interested in a varied job where you will play a significant role in developing the operation with new digital work methods. Good knowledge of Swedish, English, and the Office suite is a requirement, but it is an advantage if you have knowledge of SÄS's patient administrative systems Melior, Elvis, and Mequal.

As a person, you are service-oriented, have good communication skills, and are flexible. It is also important that you can work in a structured, independent, and meticulous manner and have a good ability to work in teams to meet the needs of the operation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
