Who is your future team?

You will be part of the EVP METS Analytics developer team, a small and agile group of dedicated engineers, working with developing and supporting specific analytics solutions for Axis' more special video products, including explosion protected, thermal and multi-directional cameras.

Working in our team includes close collaboration with other teams of different disciplines, as well as other analytics teams. We have very close co-operation and a friendly team spirit at Axis and strongly believe in sharing knowledge and insights. Innovation is also at our core, and we dedicate every other Friday to exploring and examining new technology.

Your role as an Experienced Analytics Engineer

As an Experienced Analytics Engineer in our team, your main objective will be to build functional, reliable, and high-quality machine learning based solutions. As part of achieving this objective, you will be expected to collaborate and communicate with engineers from other teams within Axis.

Our software responsibilities span all the way from model training and camera application development, to ensuring the optimal performance of these applications. In addition to this, we want to make sure to include a user experience and data driven approach in everything we do.

Who are we looking for?

You are curious, have a great passion for technology, love challenges, and enjoy problem solving in a team setting. In addition, we believe that you are self-driven and inspired by working in an environment of openness, creativity, trust, commitment, playfulness, and encouragement.

We also request that you have:

  • A university degree in computer science, engineering mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience of Python, C and/or C++ programming in a Linux environment, with a strong interest in algorithm development and Deep Learning/Machine Learning.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
