We are looking for a Chief of Staff for an authority within traffic.

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of Chief of Staff involves being part of the management team for the Tvärbanan Kistagrenen Program and being responsible for supporting the program management in the implementation of the expansion between Norra Ulvsunda and Helenelund. The assignment includes coordination, management, and monitoring of the program's staff functions to ensure effective and structured implementation in a complex infrastructure environment. The role reports continuously to the project manager and also involves responsibility for managing changes in the staff's functions over time.

Responsibilities

Be part of the management team for the Tvärbanan Kistagrenen Program

Support program management in operational management, scheduling, communication, quality, risk management, requirements management, environment, work environment, commissioning, and handover

Coordinate and develop the work within the program's staff functions

Manage changes in the staff's functions over time

Ensure ongoing reporting of progress and status within all areas of the program

Ensure that reporting is done according to plan

Report continuously to the project manager

Facilitate synergies and an efficient working method within the staff functions

Ensure that the program follows established guidelines, routines, and strategies

Assist the program with expertise and experience in requirements specification during procurement and follow-up of suppliers and contracts

Be responsible for the preparation of decisions related to the implementation and investment process, such as implementation and execution decisions

Requirements (Mandatory)

University degree of at least 4 years in a relevant field for the assignment.

At least 8 years of work experience in staff management within construction and/or infrastructure projects.

At least 8 years of work experience in public administration.

At least 4 years of work experience in a leading role in the client organization for projects >500 MSEK

Documented experience of being responsible for the preparation of implementation decisions or political communication in at least one project with a size >500 MSEK.

Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable

At least 4 years of work experience from projects in tram or railway.

Documented leadership training. Supported by a certificate attached to the application.
