On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a consultant in construction management for a large infrastructure project in the Stockholm area. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-02-02 and continue until 2028-06-30.

About the assignmentAs a construction manager within a larger subway project in the Stockholm area, you will be part of the project's construction management organization and responsible for monitoring the execution of a station contract regarding time, cost, quality, safety, work environment, environment, and social sustainability. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and other project functions, as well as representing the client in various collaboration forums.

The work may, if necessary, be performed during inconvenient hours and may include on-call duty by agreement.

Examples of tasks• Support the project manager in daily project work• Monitor the progress of the contract and ensure compliance with contract documents• Review documents, work preparations, and the contractor's quality work• Participate in safety, environmental, and coordination meetings• Ensure that work is carried out according to applicable requirements for work environment, safety, environment, and quality• Participate in financial follow-up including additional work and invoicing documentation

About you We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience working as a construction manager or equivalent role with a different title in construction and installation contracts.

• At least 5 years of experience working as a construction manager or production manager with financial responsibility in large (over 300 million) and complex projects.

• Experience working in projects with model-based construction documents from at least one previous project.

• Experience working as a client from at least one previous assignment.

• At least a high school education such as a 4-year technical education or other construction and civil engineering education or several years of work experience deemed to provide equivalent competence.

• Documented knowledge of industry-specific regulations including AB 04, ABT 06, ABK 09, AMA.

• Documented training and competence regarding Bas-U.

It is an advantage if you also meet the following requirements:

• Experience in executing larger (over 300 million) projects in collaboration with ongoing billing.

• Experience in construction management of steel structures and complex metalwork in construction & installation projects over 150 million SEK.

• More extensive experience than the specified requirements of working as a construction manager, as a client and/or contractor in construction and installation projects over 300 million SEK with high complexity and high demands on time and logistics coordination.

Desired personal qualities:We are looking for someone who is driven, self-sufficient, structured, and solution-oriented, has good communication skills externally (with contractors and consultants) as well as internally with project colleagues within the subproject and side projects. Is flexible and has the ability to see the bigger picture and dependencies.
