On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a consultant in project management for construction and installation for a large and socially important infrastructure project in the Stockholm region. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-01-20 and continue until 2029-05-30, with the possibility of an extension of 4 years.

About the assignmentIn the role of project manager for construction and installation, you will be part of the client organization for a comprehensive railway project in an urban environment. You will be responsible for coordinating and following up on the consulting organizations involved in construction and installation, as well as ensuring clear and effective interfaces with other technical areas and the client organization.

The assignment is in the design phase with a focus on railway planning and permit documents, with planned construction start later in the project. The role is central to ensuring that requirements, constructability, economy, and quality are managed throughout the design work.

Examples of tasks• Ensure that the established requirements are followed throughout the design process and verified• Monitor and coordinate constructability issues• Plan, lead, and follow up meetings• Prepare information and decision-making materials• Review design deliveries• Participate in technical meetings, project meetings, and, if necessary, authority meetings• Continuously follow up on the requirements from an economic perspective• Report status, risks, and progress to project management

About youWe are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:

• University degree in engineering/construction.

• At least 10 years of experience in design or technical investigations within large construction or civil engineering projects over 250 million SEK.

• At least 5 years of experience as a project manager or assignment manager in large projects for design within installation, over 250 million SEK.

• At least 5 years of experience as a project manager or assignment manager in large projects for design within construction, over 250 million SEK.

• At least 2 projects with experience of having worked with requirements specification within construction and/or installation.

• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you also meet the following requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Project Manager within construction and/or installation

• At least 3 years of experience working within large infrastructure projects, over 500 million SEK.

• At least 3 years of experience working for a public client
