The position as a business developer is located at the municipal management administration and the development unit within the department for strategic community development.

As a business developer with us, you will play a key role in our work to improve and quality assure our management, governance, and follow-up processes. You will lead and coordinate development work aimed at increasing efficiency and creating quality within the municipal group. The role also includes conducting analyses and evaluations as well as performing overall business follow-ups. You will work both with the internal processes of the municipal management administration and across the group.

As a business developer, you will be responsible for and work with:

• Development of overall quality work, including analysis and evaluation
• Environmental analysis
• Preparing and conducting workshops and dialogue meetings, both internally and for elected representatives
• Follow-up and analysis of municipal-wide strategic challenges and goals
• Texts for interim reports and annual reports
• Compilation and evaluation of the municipality's work with internal control
• Investigative assignments, motions, and consultation responses

Your workplace is at the City Hall in Hässleholm, with proximity to trains and buses. In Hässleholm municipality, we see remote work as an opportunity.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in leading and driving change and development work, preferably within management and governance processes and quality development. You have a university degree, corresponding to at least a bachelor's level, with a social science orientation or other higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You are used to giving presentations and workshops and can engage and inspire different target groups. You have good analytical skills and see the whole and larger perspective. You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have experience working in a politically governed organization.

As a person, you are proactive, outgoing, and take an independent role in driving change work. You are driven by solving problems and thrive in a strategic role where you have the opportunity to develop and grow. You work well with others and easily create good relationships and collaborate.

At the municipal management administration, the group-wide responsibility lies for, among other things, financial management, personnel policy, and case management. The municipal management administration consists of six departments and is responsible for overarching development issues and common functions. The administration's mission includes strategic planning, environmental monitoring, and implementation of municipal-wide decisions, projects, and security work.

Within the department for strategic community development, there are land and development, business, and development units.

Within the development unit, we work with strategic local supply, strategic infrastructure, and business development.
