As a car painter, you are responsible for performing preparatory work, painting, and finishing according to the workshop's routines and manufacturer instructions. You work closely with the damage and body team as well as customer reception to ensure efficient flows, correct color choices, and that vehicles are delivered in a professional and customer-friendly condition.

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, masking, and degreasing before painting

• Mix and match colors and set up spray guns for optimal distribution

• Perform spray painting, clear coating, and polishing according to specifications

• Check quality and finish and rectify deviations before delivery

• Collaborate with body and sheet metal workers to ensure correct work orders and timelines

• Document completed actions in the workshop system and follow up on time and materials

• Ensure that workplace and safety routines are followed, including handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment

• Participate in continuous improvement work for the workshop's processes and quality

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in car painting in a workshop environment. You are self-sufficient, have a high finish in your work, and have a good understanding of color technology and painting processes. As a colleague, you contribute to a positive and supportive work climate and can prioritize to meet delivery times without compromising quality.

• Several years of experience as a car painter or equivalent in the automotive industry

• Experience in color mixing, spray techniques, and paint repairs

• Good technical understanding of materials, surface treatments, and repair instructions

• Experience in documentation in workshop systems and time reporting

• Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented

• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

• A valid driver's license (B) is required
