About the job

As a Repro Technician, you and your colleagues play a key role in managing print production for the entire Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). We work professionally with our customers, offering support and service.

Your primary tasks involve producing and adapting graphic material based on existing layouts and graphic profiles, handling digital tools in a structured manner, and, at the end of the production chain, printing and finalizing customers' printed materials.

Your background

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, receptive, responsible, and proactive. You have excellent teamwork skills, high social competence, enjoy working in a team, but are also capable of working independently.

You will work closely with competent colleagues who will guide and support you in your role. We offer training in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign) if needed. Qualifications in Adobe Creative Cloud and Quite Imposing are meritorious, as these are the programs we use most, or alternatively, experience in print production.

SLU is a workplace with many different nationalities, so a prerequisite is that you can communicate clearly in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Other requirements: Upper secondary education and good computer literacy.

About us

The Department of Infrastructure, Infra, is part of the central operational support at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.

Infra is responsible for providing cost-effective, tailored, and well-functioning service services both locally at our main campuses in Umeå, Uppsala, and Alnarp, where we are represented, but also contributing to service development for the entire SLU.

Overall, the department also handles premises supply issues and rent administration, as well as advising and providing competence support in environmental and safety matters. We and our employees are expected to actively contribute to the university's development through engagement and initiative. Infra has approximately 120 employees and an annual turnover of around 110 million SEK.
