About the Role

As a machine operator for our client, you will play a key role in the production operations. You will work in a production environment where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the manufacturing of plastic components.

You will work with both automated and manual machines, following clear instructions, routines, and quality requirements. The work is varied and suits you if you enjoy having personal responsibility while also liking to collaborate in a team.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor, and operate machines for plastic processing
  • Perform quality checks on produced parts according to given guidelines
  • Document production and any deviations according to our routines
  • Carry out simple maintenance and troubleshooting of machines as needed
  • Contribute to a clean, structured, and safe workflow according to LEAN/5S principles
  • Perform assembly work (including picking/packing) and some warehouse tasks
  • Collaborate with technicians, maintenance, and production management during operational disruptions or improvement projects

Requirements

  • Previous experience from industrial production – preferably within plastics, cardboard, metal, graphic industry, printing, or similar manufacturing industries
  • Technically inclined with an easy understanding of machine processes
  • Good command of Swedish in both speech and writing
  • Meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a desire to develop
  • Enjoy physical work
  • Upper secondary education (high school diploma)

Merits

  • Experience in machine operation within plastic processing
  • Forklift license (A & B)
  • Knowledge of LEAN/5S work methods
  • Experience with business/production systems – preferably Monitor G5

Employment Type

The position begins as a traveling consultant with Logent Staffing on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. After the period ends, there are very good opportunities for direct employment with the client.

Working Hours

Working hours are scheduled for day shifts or evening shifts. Start date for this assignment is by agreement.
