Your Responsibilities

Are you experienced in low current, cable construction, or cable testing and ready for the next step in your career? Saab is looking for employees who want to take on new challenges!

As a tool designer in electrical and cabling, you will primarily work in Catia V5 to create both 3D models and 2D drawings of Saab's electrical tools. The tasks vary from new tool design to adjustments of existing tool documentation. The role also gives you the opportunity to review electrical tool documentation and design documentation, as well as manage and allocate deviations on tools in production.

Requirements for the position:

• Experience in low current, cable construction, or cable testing.

• Experience working in larger CAD systems such as Catia, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

• Experience reading and interpreting 2D drawings.

• Post-secondary education as an engineer, designer, or vocational school.

• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in Catia V5.

• Previous experience in the defense industry.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.

This is a consultancy assignment initially for about 6 months, with good opportunities for extension, and in the long term, the employment may eventually transition to Saab.
