Your Responsibilities As a designer at Saab, you will work on development, design, and adaptations by creating various concepts/proposals within construction. You will have significant responsibility in meeting the existing requirements and customer wishes. The work involves interaction and close collaboration with colleagues and other internal stakeholders such as production engineers and production.

Depending on your focus, the tasks may vary. Examples of tasks include 3D modeling in CAD tools like Catia V5 and Solid Edge, working with electrical design and circuit diagrams, developing electrical systems, and integrating electrical or mechanical components. Saab is a large employer where there is a constant need for both mechanical and electrical designers, and together with you, we will explore where you fit best!

Your Profile We are interested in connecting with you who have worked for a few years in the field. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and solid knowledge in mechanical design. As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented. Since the position involves close contact with various departments and roles, we prefer someone who is communicative and collaborative.

Requirements: - Post-secondary education in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, product development, or similar. - Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or tool design or related fields. - Knowledge and/or experience with CAD systems. - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious: - Experience with Catia V5 and Solid Edge.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
