The Folkuniversitetet Study Association conducts popular education and adult education throughout Sweden. Our idea is to provide people with the conditions for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. Knowledge changes. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
• Pedagogical understanding or teaching experience.
• Subject matter expertise/work experience in the subject.
• Experience and an active interest in adult education.
• Basic IT skills.
In our courses, each participant works individually with their object under the teacher's guidance. Components include, among others, upholstery, cobblestone stuffing, edge stuffing, and band gluing depending on the choice of object. Participants will also learn about various tools and stuffing materials.
Folkuniversitetet in Södertälje offers open course activities in, among other subjects, crafts. We would like to connect with you who can work in a study circle format with adults in a course on upholstery at several occasions, weekends with access during the spring of 2026.
Our goal is to expand our offerings in upholstery.
