MoA Lärcentrum offers classroom and distance studies in various programs including healthcare and social care, child and leisure studies, sales and service programs, and certain theoretical high school courses. Job Description:
As a special educator at MoA Lärcentrum, you will work closely with students and be an important part of the team, including teachers, career counselors, administrators, and the principal. You will participate in our team meetings and student conferences. Together, we provide students with the best conditions for success in their studies. In the role of special educator, you will meet students individually and in groups, in the classroom, digitally, and via the learning platform. You will be part of the school's resource team along with the principal and career counselor. Our school is centrally located in Huddinge, with easy access to public transport.
Your responsibilities include supporting students' development towards the educational goals by primarily working preventively and health-promoting at the organizational, group, and individual levels through continuous and structured collaboration within the resource team and with other staff. The role requires physical presence on site in the school's premises.
You will be responsible for:
· Mapping the organization's preventive and health-promoting work.
· Actively working for the school's development efforts and finding resources for development projects.
· Participating and collaborating in various meetings inside and outside the school.
· Being involved in feedback to the principal, students, colleagues, and the principal.
· Designing and following up on adaptation plans. Evaluating additional adaptations and compiling analysis for the school management.
· Keeping updated with applicable laws, regulations, agreements, guiding documents, as well as research, proven science, and political events within the field.
· Contributing special educational expertise and staying updated on research-based working methods and monitoring the environment.
· Contributing to the exchange of experiences with other staff in relevant subject areas at the school.
· Being a qualified conversation partner and advisor in educational matters for students, teams, individual colleagues, and the principal.
· Maintaining daily contact with students, teachers, and customers with high service standards.
· Collaborating with the municipalities' resource and learning teams and other stakeholders.
· Having close collaboration with other functions and colleagues at the schools.
Formal Qualifications

You must be a qualified special educator with a degree.
You have experience working with students in adult education, including SVA, BF, FS, and VO.
You are a proficient computer user and quickly learn new programs.
You enjoy meeting students in both classroom situations and through various digital forums.
You are skilled at organizing and planning your time and are motivated by supporting and leading people.
You have patience, a strong commitment, good interpersonal skills, and are communicative in both speech and writing. Additionally, you are proactive and disseminate information about the role of the special educator.
