About the Department:

At the Unit for Integration and Language, we work with mother tongue education and study guidance for all schools in the municipality, as well as the reception of newly arrived students in the municipality's primary schools.

Job Responsibilities:

In your role as a mother tongue teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to the curriculum and syllabus in mother tongue. Teaching takes place on Wednesdays from 15:10 to 16:00. The teacher teaches remotely using Google Meet while the students remain at their home schools where supervisors are available. The position will be 5%.

Qualifications:

• It is advantageous if you have a Swedish teaching license and are a qualified mother tongue teacher in Serbian.
• Have the relevant language as your mother tongue with documented good knowledge of Serbian.
• Have very good knowledge of the Swedish curriculum.
• Speak and write Swedish at a good academic level.
• Have experience teaching via remote education.
• Have experience in mother tongue education.
• Are a proficient user of iPads/computers as well as Google Classroom and Google Meet.

The employment is a permanent position at 5% starting immediately or by agreement. If you lack a Swedish teaching license, the employment will be a fixed-term position for one year at a time. We apply individual salary setting and a probationary period may be applied.
