About the position

We are now looking for a payroll consultant with excellent payroll expertise who wants to take clear responsibility for payroll delivery to several clients.

The position is primarily full-time, but we can adjust the employment rate for the right person if needed.

The role is remote and is based on a structured working method with daily check-ins in Teams.

We work with fixed frameworks and clear staffing during weekdays, which means that the role requires high availability and delivery reliability regardless of the employment rate.

You will work with “larger” salaries (not just owner salaries) – typically clients with up to about 50 employees, often with collective agreements, as well as ongoing reporting according to client arrangements.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Independent payroll work from start to finish (monthly salary/hourly wage, discrepancies, absence, etc.)
• Client contact related to payroll issues, planning, and delivery assurance
• Reporting to external entities, such as AGI and pension/insurance reporting (depending on the client)
• Quality assurance of documentation, reconciliations, and records
• Documenting and developing the payroll process (routines, checklists, templates) for a scalable and secure delivery
• Simpler accounting elements related to payroll, e.g., reconciliations and documentation for bookkeeping
• Participation in projects related to working methods, systems, and client implementation
• Desirable: HR support in simpler matters (policy, certificates, structure in personnel documentation)

Qualifications (requirements)

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 1 year of experience in independent payroll work
• Very good knowledge of payroll management, preferably related to collective agreements
• Experience managing multiple deliveries simultaneously and working towards clear deadlines
• Very good computer skills and comfort in digital working methods, processes, and systems
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Education in payroll, preferably vocational school or equivalent

Desirable

• Experience with Fortnox (payroll and/or financial flows)
• Experience with payroll for companies with up to about 50 employees and multiple clients simultaneously
• HR support/HR administration
• Experience improving and documenting routines and processes
