Substitute Teachers for Preschools in Nacka

We are now looking for cheerful, available, proactive, and hardworking substitute teachers for the preschools Långsjön, Saltängen, Skogsstigen, Skuru, and Utskogen.

Your Mission

In your role as a substitute teacher, you need to be able to work at one of our four preschools at short notice for both single days and longer periods as needed. You will work at multiple preschools and with children of different ages. You will play, read, sing, and draw with the children. You will assist practically, for example, with dressing and undressing, handwashing, and before, during, and after meals. You will be active both indoors and outdoors. Together with other competent staff, you will contribute to a program that is developing, educational, and fun for every child.

Your Experience

For this position, it is advantageous if you have:

• ongoing or completed upper secondary or post-secondary education as a preschool teacher
• experience working with children in preschool
• experience in healthcare, elderly care, or other fields where you have cared for others.

To succeed in the role of substitute teacher, it is important that you are an available, responsible, hardworking, and helpful person who genuinely enjoys working with children. You have an interest in democracy work and norm criticism and hold a value base where everyone's equal worth is important. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You listen, relate to others, and are adaptable. In a self-directed manner, you have the ability to manage, structure, and take responsibility for your time and tasks. At the same time, you find it easy to take your own initiative, find solutions, and start activities without waiting for instructions. You know both your authority and when to ask and refer to colleagues. To deliver in the role, it is important that you are flexible, adaptable, and reachable. You answer the phone and can quickly and shortly come to one of the preschools. You have no problem working at multiple preschools, departments, and with children of different ages.
