At God Assistans, we are currently looking for a dedicated, secure, and pedagogical personal assistant for a 22-year-old boy living in Sundbyberg.

Care is the foundation of everything we do and something that permeates our work every day. We are now looking for someone who wants to help create a meaningful, secure, and pedagogically thought-out everyday life for our client and who wants to become an important part of a team that works qualitatively with pedagogy at its center.

About the Assignment

Our client is a calm and happy boy who needs support in his daily life to get started with and carry out activities. He needs a lot of encouragement, structure, and a pedagogical approach to be able to participate in his everyday life in his own way.

You will need to get to know him well in order to:

• interpret his signals
• help him understand and interpret his surroundings
• guide him through the day with security and clarity

He can move physically but needs support to find his way and orient himself. Due to epilepsy, he always needs someone by his side to reduce the risk of injury. He also has a severe intellectual disability, which makes your role as a pedagogical guide central.

His daily condition can vary as he has several seizures daily; some days he can do more, others less. You help him meet the day based on his conditions and discover joy in the small things in everyday life.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is over 18 years old
• Speaks fluent Swedish and has good communication skills
• (if you can communicate with support signs, it is an advantage)
• Is smoke-free
• Is a secure, calm, and empathetic person
• Has patience and allows the client to perform activities at their own pace
• Has a pedagogical approach and sees pedagogy as a natural part of everyday life
• Has experience in pedagogical work and with intellectual disabilities (advantageous but not required)
• Wants to be part of a team that actively works for qualitative assistance where pedagogy is in focus

The most important thing for us is that you have your heart in the right place and that the collaboration works well. Experience can be learned, but engagement and attitude are crucial.

About the Position

Working hours: approx. 50-60%
Temporary position with the possibility of a permanent job

Weekday evenings: 15:00-22:00
Weekday (awake) nights: 22:00-08:30
Weekend days: 08:30-16:00
Weekend evenings: 16:00-22:00
Weekend (awake) nights: 22:00-08:30
