We work on behalf of the Social Psychiatry Authority to provide high-quality housing support and coordination to the municipality's residents. The target group is aged 18-65 with serious mental health issues and complex social needs, where interventions are decided according to the Social Services Act.
The work is performed in the clients' own homes as well as in our centrally located premises. Based on the rehabilitation process, we constantly aim to strengthen what works and support clients towards greater independence. We believe in everyone's potential for development and work with great respect for the individual and their own abilities.
 

Your responsibilities

As a rehabilitation assistant at SPR, you will be part of one of two teams in the unit. You will be responsible for a number of your own clients, with planning and execution based on the individual assignment. This also includes documentation in the form of social journals, implementation plans, goal follow-ups, etc. You will have clear support from both colleagues, team leaders, and management. The work is flexible and varies from day to day. Based on the client's unique needs, it may involve household management as well as supporting in healthcare and authority contacts or coordinating larger meetings with external participants. The contact with the client is central, but an important part of the work is also collaboration with, for example, the Psychiatric Center Södertälje and forensic psychiatry.

Requirements:
- You are a social pedagogue or have an equivalent education
- You have documented experience working with the target group
- Since we operate in a large geographical area, a B driver's license is required

Meritorious:
- Training and experience in low-arousal approaches
- Training and experience in working with harmful use and addiction
- Training in MI, ESL, and IBIC

At SPR, we primarily work office hours, 8 AM to 5 PM. This may vary as needed, and we also have annual working hours. We have both internal and external supervision. We work in modern and pleasant premises, centrally located in Södertälje. The unit consists of 21 people; 17 rehabilitation assistants, one coordinator, two team leaders, and one unit manager. We value collaboration and cohesion; having fun and enjoying each other's company is an important ingredient in creating a good work life.
