Your Role

As a teaching assistant, you will play an important role in supporting students during their daily school day. You will help create a safe and inspiring environment where students can develop and thrive. You will collaborate with the teaching team and contribute to ensuring that each student has the best opportunity for learning.

Responsibilities

• You will work as a teaching assistant both in large groups and for individual students.
• You will be part of a team where the operations are planned, implemented, evaluated, and developed together.
• You will contribute to our students' development and learning, as well as ensure that the educational work is directed towards the goals in the curriculum.
• You will help create a positive climate that stimulates learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with several years of experience working with students with various challenges and who is fluent in Swedish. We place great importance on your personal suitability. It is important that you can build trust and help students achieve set goals, are consistent, and skilled in relationships through clear leadership.

About the Workplace

Roslagsskolan is centrally located in beautiful Norrtälje, providing varied opportunities for learning through proximity to nature, businesses, and sports facilities. Approximately 450 students in grades 7-9 are enrolled at Roslagsskolan, distributed across 4 teams. About 65 dedicated employees work here, nearly 45 of whom are educators who, with great subject pride, create an environment that best promotes learning. At the school, all functions are important, and we are a united team working together with our students to provide them with the best conditions for a good school experience.

The school will work relationally with students and engage in the student's entire school situation. We have common rules that are well implemented to achieve order and a good study environment.
