Källbrink School is a secondary school located in a picturesque area in the middle of Huddinge, with beautiful forests and Källbrink sports field right next door. At Källbrink, 50 staff members work with approximately 450 students. The educators work in grade-level teams with four to six classes per grade. There is also a team consisting of the school's smaller teaching groups.

The operation is well-functioning and characterized by competence and a positive view of students. In our work with students, we focus on individual needs and have a working method where adjustments, both large and small, are the starting point. We are very flexible in lesson planning and assessment tasks and believe that schoolwork should be done at school, not at home. We are a one-to-one school and work with Chromebooks as a digital tool.

About the Position

The position is a permanent employment at 80% with a start date of March 2, 2026. There may be a possibility for an expanded position in the future. As a music teacher, you will teach grades 7, 8, and 9, as well as in our smaller teaching groups. You will also participate in activities related to school graduation, Lucia procession, and other traditions. The position also includes mentorship alongside a colleague.

In this role, you are expected to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students. You are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of your teaching. You have good digital competence and see Vklass, Teams, and Google Classroom as natural tools in your work and communication.

You have subject colleagues in music, which provides good opportunities for collaboration. You will also be part of a working team, where you work together around the students and teaching, to best meet the students' needs and help them develop both academically and socially.

Who Are You?

You are a certified music teacher for grades 7–9, preferably with qualifications in additional subjects. You have previous experience teaching at the secondary level and are well acquainted with the governing documents of compulsory school. You see documentation and assessment as a natural part of your work.

You are a positive and competent educator with a strong commitment to students' development. You are flexible and creative, with teaching that stimulates students' curiosity and desire to learn. You see relationships as your primary pedagogical tool and have an easy time building good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, and colleagues.

In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a working environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. You have high competence in meeting students based on their conditions and needs. It is particularly meritorious if you have previous experience working with NPF. By combining good didactic ability with solid subject knowledge and a clearly structured and varied teaching approach, you give students the best opportunities to develop and reach their goals.
