The Health and Social Care Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and individuals with disabilities, as well as being responsible for authority exercise according to applicable legislation. The administration operates within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and authority exercise. All work is performed with the resident in focus, based on the value foundation; response, participation, trust, and security. JOB DESCRIPTION

Within the authority exercise department, there are 19 case officers divided into three teams: SoL - elderly care, SoL - social psychiatry, and LSS. The work is led by two deputy unit managers and one unit manager. The department also includes housing coordinators, fee case officers, investigators, and other administration.

We are now looking for a new colleague. As a case officer in social psychiatry, you will work with adults who have mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities.

The role of the case officer involves receiving applications from individuals, conducting investigations by gathering information and making assessments. Investigations result in decisions about interventions that must then be followed up regularly. Your work is based on the Social Services Act (SoL).

In your work, you will collaborate with colleagues within Sigtuna municipality and external partners such as psychiatry, health care, and service providers.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree in social work or another higher education that is considered equivalent by the employer. We value experience in case management according to both SoL and LSS for individuals with mental and neuropsychiatric disabilities.

As a person, you are structured as the work involves handling multiple investigations simultaneously. You are collaborative and can build trusting relationships as the work involves many contacts with citizens, relatives, and collaboration with others in the network.

To succeed in your role, you need to be stable and secure in yourself. You have a high degree of flexibility and can handle a variety of cases. You are interested in contributing to your own and the group's development and work environment, and you have a good ability to understand people's varying living conditions and meet them with respect and sensitivity.

You need to have a B driver's license as the work may involve travel in the service.
