About the assignment:

A super social, cheerful, and cuddly (on her initiative) 7-year-old girl living with her family in the Enskede area. She has a severe intellectual disability, is very talkative, but speaks a bit unclearly - she wants to be understood. She enjoys playing in the nearby playground, riding her scooter, or taking care of her childhood doll stroller. An active girl, so we expect you to keep up with her pace! If there are too many stimuli at once, she can get upset, and then you simply need to change the environment.

It may take her time to bond with new people, and once she does, she becomes very attached. Therefore, we want you to see this as a long-term assignment.

She loves animals! Unfortunately, she is allergic, so since she likes to cuddle, we see that you as a respite provider do not have a cat at home.

Your qualifications:

• Energetic woman
• Experience with young children or individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Good knowledge of Swedish

About the position:

8 hours/month, performed every other Sunday morning or afternoon (4-hour sessions). Start as soon as possible.

As a respite provider, you relieve relatives of, for example, a child with a disability in the home or local area. This can be so that parents can have some personal time with other siblings.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present a certificate from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
