Job Description

As a case officer in the Unit for Authority Exercise in Elderly Care, you will investigate and decide on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and work on following up on decided interventions. As a case officer, you are responsible for investigations regarding assistance for the elderly with disabilities. The work is independent, and you have your own delegation for several interventions. Team meetings are held weekly for coordination and support in the work.

About the Position

Assistance and preventive activities are responsible for investigating and deciding on interventions within elderly care based on applicable legislation. The office is centrally located in Huddinge center, close to commuter trains and bus stations. The workplace is characterized by good collaboration and an open climate where we see each other as important resources for development and achieving our goals.

The Unit for Authority Exercise in Elderly Care (ÄO) is characterized by commitment, collaboration, and drive. We value each other's knowledge and strive together to continuously develop our work to ensure lawful authority exercise with good service.

As a case officer in the Unit for Authority Exercise in Elderly Care, you will investigate and decide on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and work on following up on decided interventions. As a case officer, you are responsible for investigations regarding assistance for the elderly with disabilities. The work is independent, and you have your own delegation for several interventions. Team meetings are held weekly for coordination and support in the work. Support in authority exercise is provided by colleagues, team leaders, managers, and operational lawyers in daily work.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker and has experience in authority exercise. Experience in meeting elderly people with various disabilities is an advantage. You have good knowledge of applicable legislation, experience in documentation, and a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.

To be successful in this role, you need to be stable and secure in yourself, contribute to a good collaborative climate, and be empathetic and clear in your interactions with clients. It is also important that you have good judgment and that you drive your work in a structured and independent manner.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
